Join Shad Kennedy on the infamous Smiley Rock trail for hands-on training designed to build your skills and confidence on technical terrain.

The day will focus on tire placement, reading the rocks, choosing the right line, throttle control, two-foot braking, brake control, selecting the right gear, and getting comfortable with being a little uncomfortable on uneven terrain. You’ll learn practical techniques to better understand your vehicle, maintain control through challenging obstacles, and get the most out of your 4x4.

Shad is the owner of Uncharted Offroad and a longtime desert racer with multiple off-road wins and top finishes, including several King of the Hammers races. He’ll share lessons developed through years of racing, trail experience, and pushing off-road vehicles to their limits.
